Sweet grass seeds

Sweetgrass is a fragrant herb revered in many Indigenous cultures, often burned in spiritual ceremonies for its pleasant aroma and symbolic significance. It can be grown from seed and thrives in moist, well-drained soil.

Hierochloe odorata or Anthoxanthum nitens, commonly known as sweetgrass, manna grass, Mary’s grass, vanilla grass, or holy grass (in the UK), and as bison grass (notably by Polish vodka producers), is an aromatic herb native to northern Eurasia and North America. This plant is considered sacred by many Indigenous peoples in Canada and the United States and is used for smudging, in herbal medicine, and in the production of distilled beverages.
